mars has been all the rage this year. from curiosity's incredible feat onto the surface, to its latest billion-pixel image from today – there is no shortage of fantastic imagery. while doing a search on current mars photography, i came across this nice article. it shows a gorgeous shot of the kasei valles; vein-like channels that water carved out billions of years ago. it is phenomenal to think that at one time in our universe, there was flowing water on another planet – and quite possibly full of living organisms and microbes. with that evidence, it is hard not to think about life elsewhere in outer space!
